Twitter celebrates golden final weekend for Minnesotans at Rio Olympics

Four Lynx standouts, coach Cheryl Reeve, and St. Paul's Gwen Jorgensen all won gold medals in the final days of the Rio Summer Games.

The United States closed out the final weekend at the Rio Olympics with gold medals in women's and men's basketball, and Gwen Jorgensen earned the country its first gold in the triathlon. Jamaican star Usain Bolt also won his ninth gold medal to complete a sweep in all three of his events in the last three Summer Games.

Social media celebrated the big wins that earned medals for Lynx standouts Lindsay Whalen, Maya Moore, Seimone Augustus, Sylvia Fowles and coach Cheryl Reeve, and St. Paul's Jorgensen.
