Tonight's game is being delayed by rain.
The Twins batted .249 in June after batting .266 in April and .283 in May. They scored 100 runs, five fewer than in May. But their 50 doubles were the most of any month - and sixth in baseball.
Still, if the Twins want to be taken seriously, they must score more consistently. Step one: Start having more productive outs. Stranding runners on second and third with less than two outs is criminal. If they can't get a hit at least set up the next guy. The pitching staff, which posted a 3.08 ERA last month, is not going to bail them out all the time.
Be back later with updates.
