The Twins unveiled the logo for the 2014 All-Star Game on Tuesday, an icon that includes the Minneapolis skyline and Target Field canopy.
As part of the festivities, Justin Morneau, Glen Perkins and Joe Mauer expressed hope that they will be invited to next year's game, which will be held July 15 at the Twins ballpark. Perkins and Mauer attended this year's game in New York.
Morneau, the 2009 Home Run Derby champion, even put in a word for that event, held the day before the game.
"People forget, that's a dream for a lot of kids growing up, too," he said. The four-time All-Star would be interested in taking part in the derby in Target Field if asked, he said.
