Twins trim Florimon from 40-man roster, in addition to Hoey

They now have 38 players on their 40-man roster.

The Twins have trimmed their 40-man roster to 38 players.

They placed Jim Hoey on waivers, and he was claimed by the Blue Jays. They also assigned shortstop Pedro Florimon outright to Class AAA Rochester after claiming him on waivers last week from the Orioles.
