In case you missed it, Jose Berrios is going to be called up in time to join the club on Monday in Cleveland, when they will begin a four game homestand against the Indians. The Twins haven't made the move official yet.

Cleveland is expected to have Andrew Miller and Jonathan Lucroy on the roster, after the Indians dealt several of their good prospects to land the two players.

Check that. Lucroy vetoed the trade with Cleveland. Wow.

The guess is that Berrios will start on Monday, because that is Tyler Duffey's day to pitch and he has been struggling lately. But the Twins might have another day in mind. He's 11-6 with a 3.42 ERA for the Red Wings. He made four starts for the Twins earlier in the season, posting a 10.20 ERA. But the 22-year old is still regarded as one of the better pitching prospects in the game.

Twins manager Paul Molitor would only say that Duffey's start on Monday is, ``to be determined." But it's likely that he's the one leaving the rotation. Duffey met with Molitor and pitching coach Neil Allen this morning.

Ervin Santana is on the mound today as the Twins face the White Sox in the rubber game of this three-game series, Miguel Sano is expected to be back in the lineup after struggling in his last three starts. Will check back later with lineups.

Carlos Rodon has been activated from the disabled list (sprained left wrist) and will start today. To make room, the White Sox traded reliever Zach Duke to the Cardinals for a minor leaguer.
