Twins tickets: Plenty of good seats remain

plenty of good seats remain

Ticket availability is a byproduct of three consecutive 90-plus-loss seasons that Twins officials are dealing with heading into the 2014 season. Despite the team hosting this summer's All-Star Game, season-ticket sales are the lowest since the Twins moved into Target Field in 2010. The Twins could have trouble reaching last season's attendance of 2.47 million.

Season, group and single-game tickets for Opening Day and the rest of the season are available online at twinsbaseball.com; by calling 612-33-TWINS (612-338-9467) or 1-800-33- TWINS (1-800-338-9467); or in-person at the Target Field ticket office and at Twins Pro Shops in Apple Valley, Roseville and Minnetonka.

Tickets for all games remain available, plenty of them for most games.

The Twins have several promotions that should help entice fans, including:

• Bobbleheads: Harmon Killebrew 1965 All-Star on June 20, Lou Gehrig 75th anniversary on July 4, Tom Brunansky 1985 All-Star on July 5 and a to-be-determined Twins All-Star Game bobblehead on Sept. 6.

• Kirby Puckett adult road jersey: June 5.

• Glen Perkins kids jersey: June 22.

• Louisville Slugger All-Star Game bat: June 8.
