The Twins announced on Monday that they have outrighted five players to Class AAA Rochester.

Lefthanders Andrew Albers, Tommy Milone and Pat Dean; infielder James Beresford and outfielder Logan Schafer were the ones who were outrighted from the 40-man roster.

Moves like these are made at the end of every season, as teams begin the process of clearing room on the 40-man roster to add players. Players such as catchers Stuart Turner and Mitch Garver, infielder Engelb Vielma and pitcher Fernando Romero could be added to the 40-man roster during the offseason.
