Brian Dozier has signed a four-year contract with the Twins worth $20 million.
Dozier, 27, hit .242 with 23 home runs, 71 RBi and 21 stolen bases for the Twins in 2014. He became just the third Twins player to hit at least 20 home runs, steal at least 20 bases and score at least 100 runs in a single season. Kirby Puckett in 1986 and Corey Koskie in 2001 were the others.
The new contract pays him $2 million this season, $3 million in 2016, $6 million in 2017 and $9 million in 2018, according to the Twins.
