The Twins continued to shuffle their roster Friday, reinstating outfielder Aaron Hicks from the seven-day concussion disabled list and selecting the contract of Chris Parmelee from AAA Rochester. The Twins on Thursday added infielder Eduardo Nunez from Rochester and optioned Pedro Floriman and Chris Hermann to the AAA team while placing outfielder Sam Fuld on the seven-day disabled list for concussion symptoms.

Parmelee was dropped from the 40-man roster at the end of spring training, but earned another major league shot by batting .305 (36-for-118) with seven home runs and 23 RBI in 32 games for Rochester this season. To make room for Parmelee on the 40-man roster the Twins designated AA outfielder Kenny Wilson for assignment. Wilson was claimed off waivers from Toronto on April 24.

Hicks has not played since suffering crasing into a fence in the second game of a doubleheader against the Dodgrs on May 1. Parmelee and Hicks are both expected to be in uniform for tonight's game at Detroit.
