DETROIT -- Rain could be a factor tonight, as the Twins and Tigers try to open a three-game series at Comerica Park.

The Twins are going with their A-lineup, knowing this is a big game in the AL Central standings. The White Sox, who play the Angels tonight in Anaheim, have a two-game lead over the Tigers with 13 games remaining.

It'll be interesting to see how Twins starter Samuel Deduno fares under the spotlight. He lasted just four innings and gave up four runs last Saturday against the White Sox.

The Tigers have catcher Alex Avila back in the lineup. He hasn't played since spraining his jaw in a collision with first baseman Prince Fielder last weekend.
