Twins minor-league pitcher Trevor May has been added to the United States team for the MLB Futures Game at Target Field on July 13.
May was named as a replace for St. Louis Cardinals minor-league pitcher Marco Gonzalez, who has been called up to the major league club.
May, 24, is 8-4 at Class AAA Rochester in 14 starts and has a 2.94 ERA. He was acquired from the Phillies organization after the 2012 season in the deal that sent Ben Revere to Philadelphia.
