The Twins have recalled outfielder Aaron Hicks from Class AAA Rochester, where he had been on an injury assignment after hurting his forearm, while placing Shane Robinson on the Family Emergency List for the second time this season.

Hicks batted .247 in 28 games with the Twins, while making several spectacular plays on defense, before being placed on the disabled list on June 14. He played six games at Rochester and, after starting slowly, had six singles in nine at-bats in his last two games.

Since Hicks' injury, Eddie Rosario and Danny Santana have been playing center field for the Twins.
