Twins-Brewers: Twins try to end the road trip on a winning note

The Twins are 2-2 on this road trip, so there is plenty on the line tonight in Milwaukee for the final game of the trek.

The Twins can head home 3-2 on this road trip if they can get their offense going against Yovani Gallardo, who is 2-1 with a 2.63 ERA in six starts against them.

Twins manager Ron Gardenhire continues to search for the right lineup. Today he has Danny Santana batting leadoff, with Brian Dozier and Joe Mauer moving down to second and third.

``He just brings some life to the game," Gardenhire said of Santana. ``We'll see. We're trying to mix it around a little bit."

Gardenhire looked at his lineup and thinks it's styled for the National League. There is speed at the top and bottom of the order, plus some power threats in the middle.

Sam Fuld will go out on a minor league rehabilitation assignment at the end of the week if all goes well. He's been going through full on-field workouts at Target Field with no setbacks.

Byron Buxton's wrist has improved, but there's still some soreness that needs to be worked out before he can begin baseball activities.
