Twins players were allowed to report to clubhouse a little late this morning, because it is going to be a long day at Target Field.

Twins and Astros are set to play two games today since they were rained out last night. The Twins raced out to a 5-0 lead before the rain hit, but now that game never happened. The stats never accumulated. Brian Dozier never homered. Dallas Kuechel's ERA was never inflated.

Everyone is back for more today. How much more remains to be seen.

The sun is out right now and it is rather pleasant. But rain is expected sometime during the afternoon, threatening the end of the first game or the start of the second.

``We have an unstable atmosphere," Twins manager Paul Molitor said.

Jose Berrios will make his third start since being recalled from Class AAA Rochester. He's had better control during his second stint in the majors but has allowed seven earned runs in 11 innings during those outings. He did beat Houston on May 2 at Minute Maid Park.

Tommy Milone, who was removed from the rotation after a July 30 loss to the White Sox, has been tabbed to start the second game. Molitor said there's no pitch count on Milone but he should be able to throw around 75 pitches if he's effective.

Chris Devinski will start for the Astros in the second game. He's been effective in a long relief role for Houston and has a nasty change up.

Andrew Albers is expected to arrive in time to be available as the 26th man for the second game. The rules keep being adjusted for doubleheaders, and the recent update has the 26th man being available for the second game only. No one was sure of that last night.

J.T. Chargois is here and is ready to prove he's not the guy who was knocked around for five runs in two-thirds of an inning on June 11 in his major league debut. He was returned to Class AAA Rochester after the game and posted a 1.59 ERA in 17 appearances since then. Is his baptism over? We'll find out soon enough.

So buckle up and get ready for two games today. It could take awhile.
