Even with all of their QB shuffling last season, the Vikings finished with 391 points — middle-of-the-pack in the league. The offensive line, much like this season, was often bad. Yes, Adrian Peterson played the full season— a huge factor — but it's probably time to acknowledge that offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave wasn't close to the biggest problem last year.

This year, under Norv Turner, the Vikings have failed to top 10 points in each of their four losses. They were decent against St. Louis and excelled against Atlanta. But in terms of consistency, this offense has been worse than last year.

NICE GESTURE Cool move by Wolves coach Flip Saunders to cancel practice and take players to the Vikings game. Too bad, you know, it was that game.

HISTORIC PACE The Wild is on pace to go 82-0 this season and win every game by shutout. I'm not going to be the one to suggest it's not sustainable.
