The Saints got manager George Tsamis his 1,000th victory, rallying for two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Fargo-Moorhead 6-5 on Tuesday night at CHS Field.

Tsamis joined Butch Hobson (Chicago Dogs), Doug Simunic (formerly with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks), and Greg Tagert (Gary SouthShore Railcats) as the only Independent League managers to reach 1,000 wins. Tsamis has 817 victories with the Saints.

The RedHawks led 5-3 in the seventh when Josh Allen drilled his second home run of the night to get the Saints within a run. St. Paul tied it in the eight on Justin O'Conner's bases-loaded sacrifice fly and went ahead on JJ Gould's RBI single.
