Whatever cosmic forces aligned, the Wolves pulled off the fourth biggest comeback in their history -- and their biggest since 1998 -- with Monday night's 107-96 comeback victory over the Nets in their first visit to Brooklyn.
Down 71-49 early in the third quarter, the Wolves abruptly reversed course, suddenly thumping the Nets the rest of the way. Included was a 15-2 finishing flourish mostly from a unit of reserves that Rick Adelman rode all fourth quarter to victory.
