Wolves update: With four games remaining, the Wolves are the seventh seed in the West and are two games behind No. 6 Denver. Improving to the sixth seed or better would mean the Wolves would avoid the play-in tournament, where they would have two chances to win one home game in order to advance to the playoffs. The Wolves' victory over Denver on Friday gave them the tiebreaker against the Nuggets. After this game, the Wolves play Washington, San Antonio and Chicago at home. Denver has games against Memphis, San Antonio and two against the Lakers.

Rockets update: At 20-58, Houston is tied with Orlando for the worst record in the NBA, with losing streaks of 15, eight and 12 games this season, along with a seven-game winning streak. The Rockets opened the season with a 124-106 loss at Target Center, part of a 1-15 start to the season, and lost at home to the Wolves 141-123 on Jan. 9. They have currently lost three in a row, including back-to-back home games to Sacramento last week, 121-118 and 122-117. Jalen Green scored 65 points in those two games, and Kevin Porter Jr. scored 57 points to go with 23 assists.
