DETROIT -- The Tigers are 13-4 against the Twins heading into their final meeting of the season today.

Already, this is the most losses the Twins have had against one team in a season since they went 5-14 against Cleveland in 2001.

Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said a flu bug is going through the clubhouse, with Ben Revere, Alex Burnett and Brian Duensing among those under the weather.

Tsuyoshi Nishioka (sore oblique), Jason Kubel (sore foot), and Michael Cuddyer (sore wrist) remain out of the lineup.

Alex Avila has started 32 consecutive games at catcher for the Tigers, but he's getting the day off.

Twins players have been told to be on the field by 11:50 a.m. (Central) for a pregame ceremony, remembering 9/11.

Update: Danny Valencia was scratched with a sore shoulder. Luke Hughes replaces him in the lineup.
