The rich get richer: Forbes' list of billionaires grows

Must have been a great year for the megarich. Forbes magazine added 214 billionaires to its 25th annual list of the world's billionaires. The magazine now lists a record 1,210 billionaires worth a record $4.5 trillion.

No. 1 on Forbes' list is Carlos Slim Helu, the Mexican billionaire who added $20.5 billion in 2010 to his total worth of $74 billion. Slim also widened his lead over No. 2 Bill Gates ($56 billion) and No 3. Warren Buffett ($50 billion). Among the top 20 billionaires, all but one increased their wealth. The United States has the most billionaires with 413, but Asia with 332 now has more billionaires than Europe's 300.
