TFD: Will A-Rod miss entire 2013 season?

Alex Rodriguez, coming off an Increasingly Lost Postseason, might not have a season at all in 2013. Per CBS Sports: Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez had surgery on his left hip on January 16, and he is expected to be out until after the All-Star break.

But there's a chance that you might not see the 14-time All-Star wearing pinstripes at all in 2013, general manager Brian Cashman told WFAN co-hosts Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts on Friday.

It's win-win, really, if you dislike the Yankees. If A-Rod misses the whole year it presumably hurts the team. If he comes back midstream, he's likely to create negative headlines with every swing and miss.
