TFD: Tonight marks the Target Center return of Corey Brewer

Well, that was fast.

He's not an all-time legend or anything, but it's kind of cool that Corey Brewer gets to come back to Minnesota and play at Target Center with his (second) new team so soon after being traded. Brewer, as you'll recall, was swapped as part of the Anthony Randolph/Carmelo Anthony deal (IN THAT ORDER). He was then waived by the Knicks and picked up by Dallas. In terms of current team victories he jumped from 15 to 32 to 45 with each roster move.

Assuming he gets into the game -- and there's no reason to think he wouldn't -- Brewer should get a nice ovation tonight.

We dare say, in fact, that in terms of all-time fan favorite Wolves from a personality standpoint, Brewer might be pretty near the top of the list.

Your thoughts on Brewer or other "good" guy athletes as we bring this day to a close.
