Brad Stevens, the now-former Butler head coach, is taking the Celtics head coach job.
/jaws dropped.
OK, now that the stunning news has set in, a couple things:
1) It's even more ridiculous that anyone believed Stevens was a legitimate candidate to land with the Gophers a few months back.
2) The last time the Celtics hired a hot shot college coach, it was Richard Pitino's dad, Rick. That didn't work out so well. But it does give us an excuse to use this:
