In case you don't pay attention to such things, Brett Favre was included on the original Vikings roster for Madden 11 this year -- no update needed like last season, even though the game launched early last week, before No. 4 had announced he was coming back. His player rating? 92. That's a nice bump from the 82 he was given last season after coming out of retirement.
As a matter of fact, Favre and his three veteran wranglers -- Jared Allen Steve Hutchinson and Ryan Longwell -- are four of the six Vikings who have a 92 or higher. Allen is the only one who garnered a 99, by the way. Adrian Peterson had to settle for a 98.
