Per Timberwolves.com:
The Timberwolves are front and center in the latest edition of SLAM Magazine, which hit news stands today. Wolves All-Star forward Kevin Love and rookie guard Ricky Rubio paired together at the Life Time Training Center to do a photo shoot with SLAM, and they are posing on the cover reminiscent to the way Kevin Garnett and Stephon Marbury did in the 1997-98 season. Love, wearing a backwards visor and Rubio, holding a ball over his right shoulder, are paired the same way Garnett and Marbury posed more than a decade ago.
We're not sure what to think about this considering the way the KG/Steph marriage ended, but it beats irrelevance.
You can see the old cover here, by the way.
