Granted, this means absolutely nothing in early June, with the NFL season more than three months away. Still, we were poking around a fantasy football site today because THAT'S TOTALLY NORMAL and we found this rather interesting: The Vikings don't have a quarterback ranked in the top 30 by FFtoday.com, but they do have two in the 30s: Matt Cassel at No. 31 and Christian Ponder at No. 37. So there's that site's confidence level in Ponder's ability to play and to last the season as a starter. Again, file it away as both meaningless and yet interesting. We'll see how it all plays out in the months to come.
