The Lynx took a significant step Tuesday toward keeping their championship lineup intact by re-signing free-agent center Sylvia Fowles.

Fowles, who came to the Lynx in a mid-season trade a year ago, started all 18 games after the All-Star break, averaging 15.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. She posted seven double-doubles, increasing hger career total to 99.

Fowles was named the 2015 WNBA Finals MVP when she averaged 15.6 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in the five-game against Indiana.
