MILWAUKEE — Suspended Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun isn't ready to meet with the media.
Braun's locker at Miller Park was absent of most personal items before Thursday's 10-8 loss to San Diego.
The slugging outfielder accepted a suspension this week through the rest of the year for unspecified "violations" of baseball's drug program and labor contract. The former NL MVP issued a statement at the time.
A Brewers spokesman said Thursday that Braun texted him a message saying he wants to speak with the media but isn't "legally" permitted at this time.
