Gophers defensive end Alex Keith injured a hand in Saturday night's 44-21 victory over New Mexico State, Coach Jerry Kill said.

Keith, who had the team's lone sack against UNLV, had four tackles against New Mexico State before sustaining the injury.

"I think Alex Keith might have broken a hand," Kill said Sunday. "I'm not sure he broke it, but I know he's got something."

Cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun twisted his left knee early in Saturday's game and still needs an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) exam.

"[The medical staff] seemed to think he'd be back in a couple weeks, but you never known with those things." Kill said. [Tight end] Alex Bisch has had a medial ankle [injury] for a month now. You just don't know how those things heal up."
