State Fair officials announced on Jan. 18 that admission and parking prices for this year’s Great Minnesota Get-Together will stay put.

Here are the prices for the 2026 fair, which runs from Aug. 27 through Sept. 7:

  • Advance admission tickets for all ages through Aug. 26: $17; available at Etix.com.
    • Tickets at the gate: Ages 13-64, $20; Ages 65 and older, and children 5 to 12, $18; ages 4 and younger, free.
      • Various promotional days are scheduled.
        • On-site passenger vehicle parking is $25.

The fair’s governing body also disclosed that it has approved funding of improvements to the grounds.

Most notably, upgrades are scheduled to be complete to the Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum renovation, which includes installing new seating, wider aisles and railings.

Elsewhere on the 322-acre fairgrounds, officials are planning to: repair and replace fencing, and street and sidewalk pavement; enhance lighting on the north end of the grounds; add fans in the Food Building, The Garden and the Horse Barn; and buy portable drinking fountains and recycling containers.
