Split with Vermont moves Gophers up two spots in nat'l ratings

The Gophers are No. 8 this week in the USA Today ratings.

The Gophers move up from No. 10 to No. 8 this week in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll after splitting at home with Vermont.

The U beat the Catamounts 6-0 on Friday, then lost 5-4 to Vermont on Sunday after leading 3-1 early in the second period.
