SC Railing bought by Virginia firm
SC Railing Co., Brooklyn Park, has been acquired by Trex Co. Inc., of Winchester, Va., for approximately $71.5 million.
SC Railing makes modular and architectural railing systems for commercial and multifamily markets. It has annual revenue of approximately $56 million and has operations in Brooklyn Park and South Carolina.
Trex makes composite low-maintenance decking and railing material. The company has annual sales of $480 million and 830 employees.
