Say hello to Luke Ridnour

Wolves add another point guard

July 20, 2010 at 10:54PM

The Wolves haven't officially announced the signing of point guard Luke Ridnour just yet, but they'll introduce the former Milwaukee Buck anyway tomorrow at noon at Target Center.

The two sides agreed last week on a four-year deal worth about $16 million.

Ridnour's introduction likely was delayed for two reasons:

The Wolves were at summer league in Las Vegas last week and David Kahn flew home Thursday just long enough (about five hours) to introduce Michael Beasley as a new Timberwolf.

And the Wolves have been trying to trade Ramon Sessions, but Ridnour's date tomorrow means the team is moving ahead anyway with two backup point guards to Jonny Flynn with Sessions still on the roster.
