Sample sale and more A sample sale with women's clothing and accessories includes trendy items sold in boutiques and better department stores. Everything is discounted 50 to 80 percent off retail. Chinese Laundry belts are $5 to $15; Canyon chenille robes, $35 to $40; Frankie & Johnny and Sophia Go Lightly pajamas and loungewear, Bon Jour Fleurette flip-flops from $2 to $7; Cicciabella cowboy boot slippers, $25 (regularly $40 to $60); Lotionglow massage candles, lotions, High Five bags made from record albums, $20; Belgo Lux sunglasses, $5; and a wide assortment of jewelry from $4 to $35, including sterling silver fashion pieces, message pieces and pearls. The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Saturday and June 25-27 next to Cabana Tan at 1284 Town Centre Dr., Eagan, 651-274-4225.

Ikea's summer sale Ikea's annual summer sale preview continues today, and the official sale ends July 5 (1900 Lindau Lane, Bloomington, 952-858-8088, www.ikea.us). Save up to 60 percent on items being cleared out to make room for new items in August. If you don't find what you want, wait until July 14, when Ikea Twin Cities will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a day of discounts and 100 gift card giveaways ($100 to $1,000). Five gift cards will be given away every 30 minutes at the July 14 sale.

In time for Father's Day Nordstrom (Mall of America, 952-883-2121, www .nordstrom.com) starts its men's sale Friday, in time for Father's Day deals. Save 33 to 50 percent. If you'd rather shop online, you can pick up the items in the store. Once you place the order online, you'll get notification within an hour if the item is in stock and ready.

Clean and save Most Twin Cities and outstate dry cleaners send customers' leather garments to Don's Leather Cleaning in Minneapolis. Don's is running a special on leather and suede cleaning. Save 20 percent (up to $9 in savings) on cleaning and conditioning for one garment, 25 percent on two (up to $22.50 in savings) and 30 percent on three items (up to $40 in savings). Ask your dry cleaner if it uses Don's Leather and if it is participating in the summer sale to get the discount through June 30.
