Brent Rooker, Ryan Jeffers and Jimmy Kerrigan each hit a solo homer — and Jeffers also had an RBI double — as the St. Paul Saints beat the Iowa Cubs 6-1 on Wednesday night at CHS Field.

Jax Griffin pitched the first five innings for the Saints (3-5) and got the win, giving up one run and five hits. Lewis Thorpe didn't allow a hit in the next three innings, and Cody Stashak pitched the last inning, giving up one hit.
