Saints' Mark Hamburger throws sixth complete game of season

Mark Hamburger threw his second consecutive complete game and American Association-high sixth of the season, and the St. Paul Saints beat Fargo-Moorhead 7-2 at CHS Field on Sunday.

Tim Colwell drove in three runs for the Saints (39-33), who won back-to-back games for the first time in two weeks. The Saints finished with 14 hits.

• Eagle Deluxe won the $52,600 NCQHRA Futurity at Canterbury Park, paying $25 to win in a nine-horse field. The Jason Olmstead-trained colt had Berkley Packard aboard.
