ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Outfielder Ben Revere stole second base in the first inning of Saturday's 9-3 loss to Texas, becoming the fourth Twins player to steal at least 30 bases in consecutive seasons.

Revere, who stole 34 bases last season, joins Chuck Knoblauch, Rod Carew and Cesar Tovar on the list.

Revere has a chance to become the first major leaguer since Otis Nixon (1994-95) to have consecutive seasons of at least 30 stolen bases and no home runs.

Etc.

• Outfielder Josh Willingham returned to the lineup on Saturday after missing two games because of a sore neck.

• Class AA New Britain outfielder Aaron Hicks, first baseman Chris Colabello and third baseman Deibinson Romero have been named to the season-ending Eastern League All-Star team.

Justin Morneau's home run in the fourth inning gave him 202 for his career, passing Gary Gaetti for sixth on the Twins' all-time list.

• Righthander Kyle Gibson gave up four runs over three innings Saturday in his first start for Class AAA Rochester. Gibson, working his way back from Tommy John surgery last year, got off to a good start with five strikeouts over the first two innings. But he gave up four runs in the third.
