The Atlanta Braves reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with former Twins catcher Kurt Suzuki.
The 33-year-old Suzuki likely will share time with returning starter Tyler Flowers. Atlanta also has Anthony Recker, who was Flowers' backup last season.
Suzuki spent the past three seasons with the Twins and hit .258 with eight homers and 49 RBI last year. He hit .240 with five homers and 50 RBI in 2015 and .288 with three homers and 61 RBI in 2014. Suzuki has a career .256 batting average. He made his major league debut with Oakland in 2007 and played for Washington in 2012-13.
