Per a report in the Wisconsin State Journal:

The University of Wisconsin men's hockey program is weighing an opportunity to play another outdoor game.

UW coach Mike Eaves confirmed he was approached about facing archrival Minnesota at Soldier Field in Chicago next season.

The matchup between the Badgers and the Gophers would be historic: Their last regular-season meeting in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association before the long-time members move to the newly created Big Ten Conference in 2013-14.
