With Adrian Peterson getting older and the Vikings' passing game revolving around a low-risk approach that spreads the ball around, there are few sure-thing fantasy picks on the 2016 squad.
That was the message from Rotoworld's Evan Silva, who joined the Star Tribune's Access Vikings podcast (subscribe: iTunes and Google Play) to chat fantasy football. Silva was asked to identify one "sleeper" pick from the Vikings roster who he thinks could outperform his fantasy draft slot.
"Just from strictly a value standpoint it would probably be [RB Jerick] McKinnon. You can still get him really, really late and he has big, big upside — whereas you have to pay a premium to get Adrian Peterson, which he deserves," Silva said. "It could be Stefon Diggs, though. If Stefon Diggs goes from 84 targets to 110 or 115 or 120, that would make a huge difference. I would go with just in terms of value McKinnon and then Diggs second."
