The Wolves play the final game of a mixed bag season on Wednesday at Target Center — one that fittingly gives them one more chance to even their record and finish 41-41.

By many measures, this is the best season for the franchise in a long time. By other measures, it has still fallen short of a successful year.

But the biggest question isn't "what happened." Rather, it is "what happens next?" Head coach Rick Adelman could very well walk away after Wednesday's game. The future of star player Kevin Love is also very much in question. Does the franchise have to take a step back before it takes another step forward? Time will tell.
