Pitcher in Japan throws at batter who called for (and was granted) time out

Good times

April 30, 2013 at 5:30PM

As a pitcher, it can be frustrating when a batter calls for time. In our younger days, pitching on the mean ballfields in North Dakota, such a thing was infrequent but irritating. Nevertheless, there's not much you can do except for shake it off, reset and throw an actual pitch ...

Or, if you are Bryan Bullington and pitching for the Hiroshima Carp, you continue with your full delivery and throw a fastball BEHIND the batter.

Send a message? Well, he did end up striking out.

But still a jerk move.
