Party starter Pitbull has been added to the growing roster at the soon-to-open Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee for a Sept. 26 concert.
It’s the closing night on Mr. Worldwide’s I’m Back Tour of amphitheaters that begins May 14 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Opening is Lil Jon, who has collaborated with Pitbull on a few recordings including “Culo.”
Pitbull is known for his hit collabs including “Give Me Everything” and “Timber.”
The Miami superstar last performed in the Twin Cities in 2024 at Xcel Energy Center with Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias.
Ticket presale for the September concert begins at 10 a.m. Jan. 28, but you must sign up at livemu.sc/pitbull by 9 p.m. Jan. 26. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 30 at LiveNation.com.
No official opening date for the Live Nation-run, 19,000-capacity amphitheater in Shakopee has been announced.
Among the advertised concerts for the venue thus far are Jack Johnson (July 12), John Mellencamp (July 14), Chris Stapleton (July 29-30), Guns N’ Roses (Aug. 8), Train (Aug. 9), Lynyrd Skynyrd (Aug. 16) and Mötley Crüe (Aug. 21).
