CLEVELAND -- Carl Pavano will return to Minnesota on Sunday and have another MRI exam on his shoulder sometime early next week. The Twins will wait to adjust their pitching plans until they get the results.

After watching Pavano struggle again in Friday's 7-1 loss, the Twins turn to P.J. Walters tonight, hoping he can keep his impressive string going. Walters is 4-for-4 in quality starts. The Indians counter with Josh Tomlin, who has three quality starts in six tries this season.

The game will be televised on Fox (Ch. 9).

I'll have more on Pavano and the Twins' reaction to Johan Santana's no-hitter in tonight's notebook.
