Pirates Roll

Key of the game: Facing fourth down, Park Center lined up to punt. The ball was snapped directly to Amani Hooker, who weaved 73 yards for a touchdown and a 14-0 halftime lead. The play came with 1 minute and 27 seconds left in the second quarter and hurt the confidence of Fridley's defense.

Quote: "It felt good. Everyone had fun, everyone played hard. It was an overall good game." — the Pirates' Amani Hooker

One thing to know: Park Center (5-4), seeded fourth in the section, won its first playoff game since 2006. The Pirates advance to play at 7 p.m. Saturday at No. 1 seed DeLaSalle.
