The Vikings announced Wednesday they have claimed tight end Brandon Bostick off waivers from the Packers. This could prove to be a savvy move on a couple of fronts:

First, Bostick is already a hero to many in these parts after his botched attempt at fielding an onside kick for the Packers in the NFC Championship Game last month helped Seattle complete an improbable rally and sent the Seahawks to the Super Bowl.

Second, as tough as that play was for Bostick, it's hard to imagine he'll ever mess up an onside kick again after that lesson.
