Former Twins outfielder Delmon Young has signed a minor-league contract with the Baltimore Orioles that includes an invitation to training camp.
If he makes the Orioles, the conbtract will be worth $1 million, plus a chance for up to $750,000 in incentive bonuses, according to Jon Heyman of CBSsports.com.
Young played for the Twins from 2008-2011 after being acquired from Tampa Bay in the trade that sent Matt Garza and Jason Bartlett to the Rays. Young was traded to Detroit in August 2011 and played for the Phillies last season.
