Heading Home Minnesota is a coordinated private and public partnership working to create 4,000 additional housing units, support services and outreach for the homeless. An interactive map gives access to websites that detail the progress of the seven regional initiatives -- Hennepin, Ramsey, Olmsted and St. Louis counties and central, southwest and southeast Minnesota.
The site includes facts and personal stories about homelessness. It also details opportunities to help by donating money, attending locally sponsored events and volunteering. For information, visit www.headinghomeminnesota.org.
