Dorsey & Whitney, Minneapolis, named as partners: Lynette Slater Crandall, public finance; Shari Jerde, trial; John Liethen, health; John Marsalek, corporate; Sara Peterson, environmental, natural resources and energy; Katie Pfeifer, trial, and Rhona Schmidt, corporate.

TwinWest Chamber of Commerce, Plymouth, named Kevin Melott a regional sales director. He was an account executive, senior loan officer and director of development for various franchises in the Orange County area of California.

Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly, Minneapolis, named Gina DeConcini a partner in the corporate finance and transactions group. She previously worked for Deloitte & Touche.

Organizational Concepts International, Minneapolis, promoted Claire Edmondson from consultant to director/business, development.

DIRECTORS

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota chapter, elected Karen Larson board chairwoman, Michael Schrock vice chairman, Larry Schmid treasurer and Susan Hagstrum secretary. Larson is vice president of classified advertising at the Star Tribune; Schrock is president and chief operating officer at Pentair Inc.; Schmid is vice president and chief financial officer at Great River Energy, and Hagstrum serves on a variety of University of Minnesota boards. Trustees are David Chaikin, William Gillispie Jr., and Devon Washington. Chaikin is a former Marine and worked for 25 years in the high-tech electronics industry, Gillispie is corporate vice president of grocery, frozen, dairy, specialty and ethnic foods at Supervalu and Washington works for Target Financial.
