The Timberwolves lost their first two games out of the All-Star break over the weekend, and if we're looking for a culprit we can look directly at two quarters of play.

In losing a fourth-quarter lead to Memphis on Friday, they made only two of 17 shots — turning a five-point lead into a five-point loss. That cold shooting carried over to the next game against the Knicks, when the Wolves spotted New York a 31-16 edge at the end of the first quarter thanks in large part of a 5-for-19 performance from the field for Minnesota.

So that's 7-for-36 combined in the two doomed quarters.

well done What looked to be a light rail quagmire Sunday after the Stadium Series game actually moved with cool efficiency.

at this rate Rachel Banham seems like a good bet to pass 3,000 points in her career. If she had another year, maybe she could get to 4,000?
